Kensington Ceramics and Glass Fair

We have taken over the Organisation of the Kensington Ceramics and Glass Fair which is held twice a year in Kensington Town Hall.  The first date is Saturday 11th January 2020.

Some of the best Ceramics Dealers in the country bring rare and fine pieces.  There is always a good queue prior to opening and it is well attended throughout the day.  If you haven't visited before or if you are a regular please put this date in your diary and we will hope to see you.

Just show the e ticket found on our home page either on your phone or print if off to show at the door.

The Fair opens at 11.00am and runs through to 5.00pm

Parking is available below the Town Hall making this very convenient if you are driving to us.  Kensington High Street Underground is a three minute walk away and there will be Refreshments on site.

The Worcestershire Antiques Fair

Sorry to all the people who have phoned today but we really are fully booked.  The Fair seems to be very balanced and when set up is finished I am sure it is going to look great.  Now all we need are lots of Visitors to see what is on offer, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

October 2019 Worcestershire Antiques Fair

One Week to go, countdown has begun.

Fair fully booked, cancellations, due to unforeseen circumstances, have been replaced by other Dealers who have been on the waiting list.

Banners have been up a month.  Radio Advert  transmission has been going three weeks.

Adverts in black and white book and Trader have been out a while and some of the local paper adverts were running last week with the main ones to come out this week. Not just local but surrounding areas such as Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Coventry, Cotswolds, etc. and Flyers have been out since February.

Setting up EWorcestershire Antiques Fair

Less than a week to go now.  Will be setting up Stand Fitting from Thursday morning and Electricians will be ready to do their job starting on Friday morning.  Then tables and chairs have to be set out.
Some of the Dealers with big Furniture move in Friday morning to ease the rush at 3.00 when most of the other Dealers move in (just a few first arrive Saturday morning)  Then we will be ready to go.

23rd/24th Februarty 2019

Well less than two weeks to go to our next Fair, The Worcestershire Antiques Fair in the Chateau Impney Exhibition Centre, Droitwich Spa.

The Fair is fully booked, our banners outside have been up for a month and we are just about to get our other signs in place.  Advertising sorted,  AA signs given planning permission,  Electricians and Stand Fitting arranged.

Three days to go.+

The Fair is fully booked and brimming with quality Dealers that have travelled from all over the Country.  Although there will be high end items on offer there will also be something to suit all pockets from ten pounds upwards.
This Fair has a lovely atmosphere and you will find the Dealers friendly and helpful.
We have a very good ceramic section with early porcelain including Daniel, Lowestoft, Newhall, Spode, Dr Wall, Worcester, etc. together with 20th C Doulton, Ruskin, Moorcroft, Studio Pottery, etc.
Furniture is also well catered for from beautiful Deco pieces to Period pieces and everything in between plus retro.
Dont worry about Parking, there is a huge Car Park next to the Exhibition Hall.

Petersfield Books and Roxwell Antiques

One day from start of set up.  Roxwell Antiques will now be joining us to replace the cancellation we had for ill health.  Chris sells small pieces of Mahogany furniture, desk items, treen and other related items plus brass floor standing reading lamps.

For the first time to the Worcestershire Antiques Fair we welcome Petersfield Books from Hampshire with rare 1st Editions and other good quality books.  If you want to have a good browse you will find them in the left hand corner of the main hall.

Remember its that time of year coming up so lots of great and unique gifts on offer and a bedazzling array of Jewellery.  You can never go wrong with a diamond.

Gearing Up

Recently joined us, H H Bray, John Piper and Richard Parker.  John Lambert has unfortunately cancelled due to ill health.

Yes David Walters is with us (I know he reads the Blog) I have been asked if he is.  Television personalities include Jo Brayshaw, Mark Stacey and our own BenCooper.

AA signs should be going up Thursday ready for the weekend and at the moment all on schedule
